My name is Amanda Martinez. I founded For Creatives NJ in 2021.

I built this from the trenches (not literally but figuratively) no mentors, no roadmap, no one handing me the answers. I watched people navigate building their businesses and their brands and I quickly learned from the lessons they figured out too late. Their paths were never linear and neither has mine. But I was paying attention to their journeys and that experience became my education.

I'm a content creator and podcaster based in Union City, NJ. I started with words (more specifically poetry) and over the years that evolved into building an audience and telling stories. But more than any of that, I've always been the person in the background. Quietly rooting for people. Sending the encouraging text and showing up for someone else's vision without needing the credit. I never wanted the accolades, I have always just wanted to see people win.

At some point I realized that energy deserved a home.

That's why For Creatives exists.

This is a community incubator built for creatives who are doing the work without a safety net. We're creating what should've already been here: events, studio access, podcasting infrastructure, membership, and a real community that shows up for each other.
